Hey Tom, I already bought some from another member, but compared the ones I bought with my original drum spindles and I can't tell the difference.....what am I missing?
Also I need both good, paintable windlaces?

I've never took apart drum brakes and disc brakes and compared them. So I do not know. Sorry.

 

IIRC, the upper brake mounting pad is different. The drum spindle can be machined down to match the disc mounting pad.
