Roller Cam Questions

Went to go install the cam in my shortblock. When I pulled the cam out, I noticed that the front "adapter" was missing off it. Is this the correct part I need: http://www.mondellotwister.com/GS-125.gif
Is this just a press on piece and use some permatex sleeve retainer?

Also, what type of distributor gear should I be using? Here's the cam if you want to see specs: http://www.lunatipower.com/Product.aspx?id=3203&gid=137

Does that cam not have a flange on the front?
Any melonized gear will work on that core.

No flange. Is that Mondello part the one I need?

Yes most likely. That cam was ground on a diesel core, that's why it doesn't have the flange it should.

Thanks Mark. That part did the trick. Now just waiting for the cam bolt and thrust button to come in.
