Olds Toro pan 5 qt

I'm installing a Toro 5 qt pan on my 65 Cutlass. I need to know if all the baffles are needed in that engine. I have ARP studs in the engine right now do I need to change them or run it like that with out the baffles Its a 455 Olds block and 400 trans.

X 2 I understand old school guys liked the toropan because it held an extra quart , however the design does not make for optimum performance as there is a hump in the middle, I used a stock milodan replacement pan which looks factory but holds 5 quarts plus the one for the filter makes six just like a toro pan. if its a budget thing disregard bud, use what you need to use

You "can" run that oil pan without the factory baffles / windage tray
On the race car they "the wizard" heated and beat down a valley front to rear for the oil to drain back

Happy safe distance motoring

I would heat and flatten the hump, and install custom baffles in the sump.
