Got my small block 455 back from the shop..30 over pistons, 10 over crank and re-ground cam. Now I'm shopping for flat top lifters. I've read here and elsewhere that they must be USA made. I found a set on ebay that are that..made by SBI and a good price as well at 120 bucks. Would these be a good choice for me? My build is just boring ol stock, nothing performance.

 

I use a lot of SBI's valve train parts. They have always been very high quality.

But . . . . what manufacturers camshaft are you using ?? If possible I prefer to use the same manufacturer lifter as the camshaft and follow the cam manufacturers startup procedures.
