Head Bolt Studs

Can anyone tell me what the head bolt studs, one on each head (2nd one from the front), are for? I have pictures before dis-assembly but nothing showing what may have been attached there. I'm thinking passenger side could be alternator bracket and driver side is power steering pump bracket. This is on a 67 Cutlass 442 with "C" heads.

Usually it's for the A/C compressor bracket on the pass. side and alt. bracket on drivers side w/ A/C...

That would explain it; non A/C car so alternator is on the passenger side. Thanks for the help.
