455 intake question

Hi all,I am building a 455 for a customers car. wanted to use a Edelbrock RPM intake, but for some reason they do not make one. however, Proffesional Products builds a version of what I would consider a RPM airgap design, and I was wondering if any one has run one? how was performance? fit? what was your overall impression of it? Thanks for any info,Brian.

It was a piece of crap. Slag in the runners, hairline cracks with epoxyish substance on the underside. Even after we cleaned it up and ran it, the car went from 12.30's to 12.40's
Why not use a torquer?

I purchased an Edelbrock Performer for my 455. I've heard good reviews about it. You should probably stick to Edelbrock or maybe an Offenhauser intake if you can find one used. I've never heard of Professional Products.

I think 1FSTLS1 bought one a while back, you might check with him to see what he thought of it.
