Timing Tab Question

Still trying to get the brackets on my 455 block for the A/C (I live in Florida), power steering and Alternator. Does the two bolts that hold the timing tab on it have a spacer, or was one a stud? Anybody know if the lower bolt for the pwr steering should have a spacer. My power steering brackets are not lining up.

Thanks again....Tim

Yes, there stud type bolt at the timing tab. The bolt should be threaded on both end and have a nut type in the middle of it and a spacer fit between the nut and the PS bracket. It should be in the top corner position of the timing tab, check photo. You can see were the nut is I think. If not I can do better photos. let me know. The same kind of stud bolt is needed at the WP with no spacer, but little bit different size because of the thickness of the WP.
There is also a spacer behind the PS at the block. I went to Ace hardware and got a bronze spacer ($2.30) and ground it to fit. Works great, first time in 18 yrs there has been a bolt in that lactation.
