Timing Tab question

Can anyone tell me if its ok to use a chevy timing tab on an olds 455?

Aside from the fact that the shapes are completely different, the Chebby tab has different bolt hole spacing and does not have the hole for the locating dowel pin in between the two bolt holes.

If your needing one you can purchase a repop one or create a parts wanted thread. I'm sure there's several members here with extras of these.
