400 Olds camshaft identification
Hi Everyone,
I need some help identifying the specs on a camshaft I just removed from a customers engine.
This engine was unfortunatley built by Mondello Performance Products about two years ago and has never run correctly for what I am finding are various reasons and poor assembly practices.
Anyways, I am trying to figure out the specs on the hydraulic flat tappet cam I removed from this 65' 400 "B' block from the customer's 65' 442. I am suspecting an incorrect cam that may be a 39* cam instead of the proper 45* cam.
There is a stamped part / grind number in the back which is 413985 but there are two hand engraved numbers above that which are 117809 and 414017. I cant find these numbers anywhere, even in older Engle or Elgin catalogs which are two of the cam brands Mondello most often uses,
Any help here would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Grant
