need help on cam identify
That's a standard GM casting number for Olds cams.
It could be a wide variety of cams.
If it's a GM cam, and it hasn't been reground as something different, the chamfers on the front of the cam may be able to provide information. Take a picture of the front of the cam, with the lighting good enough that the chamfers are clearly visible.

My feeling is that what I'm seeing is a single chamfer going about 300° around, sparing the ~60° starting at the V-shaped notch and continuing clockwise, which would indicate a 400 or 455 M/T cam (except W30) in 1968, '69. and '70 (and maybe some others - I'm not checking everything).
This would be a 1966-'69 393859 or a 1970 406768, and possibly others.
We could be more sure if you could take an evenly lighted photo of the whole face of the cam, straight-on (this picture is taken from an angle toward the short side of the checkmark-cutout and cuts off a portion of the cam).

This would be a 1966-'69 393859 or a 1970 406768, and possibly others.
We could be more sure if you could take an evenly lighted photo of the whole face of the cam, straight-on (this picture is taken from an angle toward the short side of the checkmark-cutout and cuts off a portion of the cam).
