Smile Up & running after a year

Just thought I'd post a few pics of my 67 442 convertable. It's been almost a year and it is almost done. I still need to pull the motor and detail the engine compartment and paint the engine ect. Of course it went slightly over budget but that was to be expected!

That is SUPER, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Give details of the processes, photos and prices. That is what I feed on.

I'll try to post more pics soon. It takes a while to down size the photos with the program I have. I haven't totaled up the receipts yet but I guess somewhere around 22-23k. It has all new floors and lower quarters. I farmed out the bodywork but did most of the interior myself with Legendary covers. The drivers bucket is a power seat, (not original). I have the wrong shifter in it but since found the correct one to replace it. The car was originaly a 4 speed but the drive train was swapped out way before I bought it. Maybe I will change it back some day but for now the turbo 400 shifts nice. The bumpers were rechromed and I found some nice pcs of chrome on ebay. Also a friend who scowers junkyards for a hobby had some needed parts. I also found a 67 block and heads for $60. I will work on rebuilding it as time and $ permits.
Anyway thanks for the replies. This is a great forum and has been of help. I have to say I bought alot of parts from Fussic and they were great with fast shipping and no backorders. I live in Mass so they aren't far away.
Thanks again,
Gary
