Proper gear lube for differential?

Proper gear lube for differential?

Can anyone tell me what the current substitute for whale oil in a 12 bolt posi?

Thanks for the reference - I wasnt searching for the right thing apparently. Sounds like the short answer for my W30 is a non-synthetic with an additive.

Yes, non synthetic with the GM additive.
