65 442 With Corvette Rally Wheels?

Pondering going to 15 x 8 Corvette rally wheels on my 65 442. Anybody have any side view pictures so I can ponder the look?
Cheers.

I bought my 65 with chevy Ralley's on it.
No centercaps.

I personally can't wait to get rid of them. If you have 15x6 & 7" steel wheels...you can have these.

Nice looking car, Pete. Don't suppose they're 15 x 8 and you are anywhere near Richmond BC....?
A previous owner jacked up the back of my car with new springs, and it looks odd with skinny tires on 15 x 7.
Thought I might stuff a set of 255/60/15 under it and maybe fill in the wheel wells a bit. Need a wider rim for that, though. That's why I'm thinking 15 x 8.

Actually can put the wider tires on the 7" wheels Dave.

Chevy Rallies look great on Chevies, not so much on an Olds. 15x7 Olds SSII/III's pop up regularly for not much money and the tires you mention will fit fine. SS1 repops are also available in a variety of sizes if you really want 15x8. Just my opinion and you may already have the wheels.

I don't have any wheels yet. I just thought maybe my 15 x 7 might be too pinching on the wider tires. Maybe I'm mistaken !

Don't have any wide tires, either, but I do know the 225/70/15 pair on the back look really odd somehow, with the *** end way up

A 275-60-15 is just a bit taller than the 225-70's and wider. They would probably fit nicely in there and not rub with the 15x7's

I had rallye wheels on my car when I bought it , hated them , everybody thought it was a Chevelle !! So I went to body coloured steelies 15x7 and Dog Dish caps , can't go wrong , I always get compliments .My tires are 255/60/15 on the back and 245/60/15 on the front .

Dave, I'm afraid I can't let you put chevrolet wheels on your 442. You are going to have to bring it to my shop for safe keeping - it's for your own good....

Think I'll check and see what the buddies have. Maybe find a pair of 15 x 8 or 9 with a 3 inch offset, so they won't rub the frame. Perhaps 15 x 7 will be fine for the front. I'll beat the bushes a bit and see what comes out.
Kind of wishing I hadn't sold off all my Holley double pumpers cheap. My Rochester is feeling pretty anemic off the line. Such is life
