I have decided I am going to go with a resto-mod look for Cutlass. Its gonna get a black spray coat and some gunmetal wheels in the summer. In the meantime I will be doing the front suspension, some steering, and some brake work.

I am open to all suggestions, but I am married to at least a 17 inch wheel. I would like to drop it at least an inch, as long as the large wheels permit it. Anyways

Will the 18x8.5" wide wheel fit up front? I have experience with aftermarket wheels. I am just wondering if any of you have any experience with this size wheel. I will be using a low pro tire. I am just concerned about the inner lip of the wheel rubbing on the upper control arm.

To expand even further...how about with 1" drop spindles?
