Two questions re 1950 Olds 88

Can anyone educate me re:

1. What size bias-ply tires came stock on the 1950 Olds 88 Club Coupe?

2. What is the largest size radial tire I can run on this same car without any rubbing or other issues?

Thank you! Evans

50 Olds Tire Size

As I remember it, 710X15 was a stock size from the factory, for the cheaper models.
760X15 was the next step up, 800X15 and 820X15 were usually found on the 98's of the day.
This was a long time back for me, but I believe these sizes to be correct.
Others may be able to correct if needed.

I would call Coker Tire or Diamondback and check on the radials. I have heard stories about running radials on those early rims but don't know if they are true or not. It is worth asking about.
