Another tire thread.

I'm wanting to put new Cooper Cobras on some 15" SS-3 wheels I have. I would like to fill the wells up some but don't want any rubbing up front.
I also would like to keep the same size all the way around for convenience and for a better deal on a set of four. Thoughts on size?
These will be for the 70 W. It has 225-70-14's on it now. I will be painting the wheels argent grey to keep in line with what came with it in 70.
Thanks for you thoughts fellas.

I have 245-60-15s all around with no issues. One time the tire shop made a mistake and put a 255-60-15 on the left front and it rubbed on turns. Brought it back and got a 245-60-15 and all was well. Others have reported 255-60-15s fit on front without rubbing, but I think that has a lot to do with ride height and suspension quality (mine was 20+ year old original springs). Rear was no problem with 255s due to the huge fender wells.

Back in the 70s - 80s my 70 Supreme had 225-70-15s on front and back with no issues.

Those should fit with no issues. But the rears will go up in smoke with throttle application.

Turned out nice with new lug nuts, NOS caps and new trim rings.
