Would car shows consider this a resto-mod ?

Yes I would think it would fit that category. It's a "what if" because all original or repro factory available parts were used just different year models.

Looks like a good cruiser. Chevy engine. Chevelle console. Call out an Olds console being ugly then absolutely butcher the side stripes. One hundred percent modified class.

I like it too. Well executed.
I would have built an Olds engine and definitely left the red stripes off it in favor of the upper belt line stripe similar to a 68 H/O paint scheme.
I like the 70 front but I would have left the 68 dog house on it. Kinda partial to it.
Wheels are cool.
