The Brothers Collection

I haven't been to this yet but have a couple buddies who have. Its not open all the time so the chance of getting in to view the cars only happens every once in a while. They have many incredibly rare cars including some Oldsmobile's. If you haven't heard about them here's a link to a youtube video. If you don't have time to watch the whole video go to time 22:45 to see some Oldsmobiles.

So if that 69 H/O is real, its one of two in existence. Big, big dollars.

Beutiful cars, I hope they are just on loan and will one day pound the pavement again. Way to many cars to be sentenced to warehouse queen duty for the rest of their lives.
Cant wait for nice weather here, the video inspires me to want to go rotate the tires...hehe

I went there about a year ago. I see they've upped the price from $15 to $25. It's an incredible collection, though. I'd go see it again and take more time - I was with a friend the first time and we blew through it in 90 minutes before he had to go. I wish we could have gone 'behind the ropes" to see the cars more closely.

It may not have shown up in the youtube video. But next to the 1969 Hurst Olds convertible was a 1969 Hurst Olds with the elephant tusk spoiler. I believe they are both real. I'm under the impression this collection has a lot of really really rare cars.

I don't think it has anything to do with the company BAP, but I don't know for sure. Obviously these guys are extremely wealthy to have acquired such a collection. The crazy thing is this collection is closed most of the year. They have special events when they want to donate to a cause and open the museum just for that. And the location, Salem Oregon. Its not the largest town in the Pacific Northwest so I was surprised when I first heard about this collection.

I haven't been there yet but will one of these days. Randy, thank you for the comment that 90 minutes was a quick view. It sounds like one should plan several hours to really enjoy it.

Definitely probably one the nicest muscle car collections out there. I have to agree with you about it's a shame to see cars built to just sit. I get that they are spotless perfect cars. Just a shame they are built just to sit.

Side note about small city. Back in the late eighties I lived near Eureka California. I worked in Eureka. Occasionally I would see very nice rare Chrysler/Mopars up and down the highway. Highway 101 Pacific Coast Highway. I asked around. Turned out Richard Carpenter of The Carpenter's bought an old furniture manufacturing building to store his cars. He had an incredible collection of cars there. Super nice guy too.

They have had a youtube channel for a long time. They used to upload a video a week but haven't in quite awhile. The channel does reviews of the Brother's cars.

I found this link within the youtube channel which is more current.

That isn't completely true. They still upload a video ~every week. Perhaps not a video of the muscle cars shop, but they are very active in uploading videos weekly:

Ok, I watched the entire 24 min video at the top, thx for sharing 2blu442. I have seen loads of car collections in my lifetime, but that collection is over the moon insanely nice. Good gravy, how many yrs it take to amass those jewels? To hear that story alone would be interesting. Loads of 7 figure cars and well thought out displays. Hell, the neon signage is impressive alone.

I was referring to 'MuscleCarOfTheWeek' channel. I haven't followed the 'restoreamusclecar' channel. That's good to know, I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for posting those. If those aren't two of the coolest 69's out there. The Hurst Olds prototype And a Hurst Olds ragtop.
