"Modern"'ish Wheels for 1927 Olds??

Hi all,

Thanks for your prior help...found the dipstick and the new electric fuel pump is working fine - no carb leaks.

I was able to get a new tire/tube/liner on a split rim with a lot of elbow grease, pain and cussing... Are there one piece wheels that will directly replace the original wheels? I have brand new 4.75-5.00-20 tires and inner tubes, but would like to have a more "modern" wheel that is one piece, looks like an original and I don't have to use the "widow maker" to remove/install.

Thanks!!!
Bob

Was the dipstick part of the oil filler cap?
Did you use a pressure regulator, or did you find a pump with less pressure?
The disc wheels you have are a rarity. Most '27 Olds had wood spoke wheels
There is no quick and easy answer to you wheel question .
Bolt on wheels didn't come along until the thirties.

Minus the 4 bolts around the outside of the rim, it kinda looks like a Cragar Super Trick Wheel. Beautiful car by the way.
