Car is a 1950 Rocket 88. Can anyone post pictures of the Rochester AA linkage set up when fitted in the car. I’ve rebuilt the carb but can’t seem to get the idle speed down and when I rev hard it chokes a nearly dies.

Thank you for that Charlie - just what I needed. I need to get myself a chassis and body parts catalogue. Is yours year specific? There are some on Ebay that cover several years such as 1934 - 1952 and I don’t know if they would be any good.
It covered all spare parts available from GM at that time.
Most parts (and illustrations) for 1940's models are included.
A few commonly replaced parts as far back as 1932 or so will be listed.
Here's a link to the chassis parts book;
1937-1950 OLDSMOBILE CHASSIS PARTS CATALOG ORIGINAL 1950 49 48 47++ BOOK | eBay
And, a body parts book;
1937-1950 OLDSMOBILE BODY PARTS CATALOG ORIGINAL 1950 49 48 47++ BOOK | eBay
The body book covers parts from the cowl back and from the chassis up.
