New look for our 55

We said we would leave it looking original but we just could not resist anymore, so on went the air ride and painted the wheels black and some spider hub caps, we love it

Thanks guys , it's amazing how stance and wheels can change the look so much, we went to a car show last week and I've never had so many people ask about the car ,especially the younger folk, I have a few cars but this one is my favourite, my kids are already fighting over who is going to get it lol , I haven't told them that I'm getting buried in it lol

AH! I am laying down my first post on this thread as I was eager to get to the air ride setup!!

I just started turning wrenches on my 55' Olds 88 2 Door Hardtop - really curious how you fellas are setting up the air ride.

Thanks!

Andy

We only went for air ride due to our driveway having a bad dip so we could not lower it, we didn't go for that slammed look either , we could have but I love the way it sits , it suits the car , some pics below

Thanks for the pictures! I am eager to get my hands dirty with this undertaking. How tricky was it to have the proper clearance to not have the bags rub on the front? Did you need to do some heavy cutting or was it all about the placement?

Thanks again for all the info!
