CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT COMPANY SELLS A REPLACEMENT TURBO 400 TRANS HOUSING OR CASE, FOR A 1970 442 W30 (OW TRANSMISSION)? THANKS, PHIL

 

I don't know if there are any companies that sell automatic transmission housings. I would think you could get one at a junkyard though. Then all you would have to do is take the innards out of it. Just make sure you get a TH 400 with a BOP bellhousing on it.

 

All TH400 BOP cases are essentially the same. Some of the mid-60s Olds full size cars did not have the speedo drive provision since the cable was on a front wheel, but just avoid those. Just extract your OW tag and put it on the replacement case. Also, locate the CAPS LOCK button on your keyboard.
