1955 - 88, How Difficult is it to remove speedometer?

How difficult is it to remove the speedometer from my 1955 Olds Super 88? If someone knew what they were doing, how long would it take.

Thanks!

Can you give me quick lesson on how one would approach the removal of the speedometer. ...... clips, nuts, bolts, etc. Would I have to remove anything to get at it? I appreciate any info you can throw my way.

Thanks!

Looking at the instrument panel from the rear. Unscrew the speedo cable and oil pressure tubing, unplug the "snap in" light bulbs, remove the nuts that hold the clamps in place. It should fall into your hands.

A Factory Shop Manual can be a valuable addition to your toolbox.

Dude .... that is a hoot! Thanks for the info. I looked up underneath the dash in not so different of a contortion. It didn't look too bad.
Cheers!
