My TH400 shift late from 2th in 3th gear if power shifting it from hand....in Automatic Modus it shift normaly...hope somebody can help.

I use a Transgo shift KIT if it help

Did it do this before the shift kit install? The governor control WOT shift points. You may need do swap or modify your existing governor to get the shift points where you want them.

 

Are you saying this happens when manually shifting from 2-3 but not when leaving it in D and letting it shift automatically?

 

I believe these shift kits can be done with a different pattern of shifts or control. Do you have the vacuum modulator still? Does it get vacuum? You can control 2-3 shift some with adjustment of that.

To be honest i cant remember if do this before i install the shift kit...because never drive hard before

 

To be sure, i will check today ....if remember it shifts late from 2-3 at WOT ....no matter if D or manaual shifting.

 

Yes vacuum work, it don´t feels that this can be the modulator .....from 1th in 2th hard tire chirping shifts when ever i want but if want to shift from 2th in 3th it react later . ( for example shift at400rpm - react at 4500rpm )

 

Is the 2-3 shift firm, or is the delayed shifting because it’s sliding into the next gear?

 

it shift Firm...only to late...seems all band are good
