Getting ready to rebuild my Muncie 4 sp. Who is a reputable parts supplier these days?
I rebuilt mine over last winter. Not a repair, I'm talking everything off the main shaft full inspection. I ordered from this company parts came correct. You will need a press and probably may want to order the front shaft nut wrench, its design is only for the main shaft nut purpose. I replaced all bearings and cluster shaft too. Order the proper rebuild gear assembly grease if you don't have any. You also should have Muncie rebuild book but if you don't you can look on line. Also take a photo of your synchro's on the main shaft before disassembly it will help you with reassembly. Mine works beautifully and it's easy to do if you have some mechanical abilities and some patience! You will save some money and you can always say you did it yourself.
