Transmission Rebuild Recommendations S.FLA

Looking to rebuild transmission for a 1959 Oldsmobile 98. I understand it won't be a cheap endeavor. That being said, any reputable shops the group would recommend in the south Florida region?

If you do some searching on our website you'll find that you might have a similar problem to other classic Oldsmobile owners. You'll have to ship your car or transmission to one of the few rebuilders in the nation willing to rebuild the transmission. If you stop by a local shop most likely you'll find the owner unwilling to rebuild the transmission since it's an early Hydramatic.

You can get parts here.

I just don't know anymore recommended rebuilders of the early Hydramatics. Good luck.

Thank you, for your reply. Most local shops seem unenthusiastic. Do you happen to know any shops in Florida or in nearby states that would even install it should we get it rebuilt by someone elsewhere in the country? To keep the car shipping costs lower at least?
