Trans Adaptor

Hi all. Will a 4L80E bolt up to a 1971 455" Block? Or will the adaptor for the 700R4 work? Or? Thanks, Bill.

Will not bolt up without adapter. 700r4 one should work. Not sure about the torque converter bolting up you might check that out before you get in very far.
