Tranny Temp Sensor

Does anyone have a tranny temp senor in their set up? I need to invest in one and would like to know which type/kind/brand to get.

It's for a 700R4

Thanks!

If you're thinking about an aftermarket gauge set-up there are 2 options.

One is a splice of a "T" fitting in the top line going to the raditior, the other is to weld a bung in the pan itself.

I'm probabky going with the bung route

I used the Auto Meter 3357. I put the sensor into a bung on the side of my 2004r pan. Had the pan made with two bungs one for a drain the other for the sensor....

Do you have dual exhaust? Have you had any problem with the tip on the sensor (wiring) getting wet?

They are my only 2 concerns.

Working on putting in Sunpro "Faze" gauges in my Delta to replace the factory gagues that are all wrong I know they are rice, but they are in my closet taking up space and BRAND NEW they are going for $20 on eBay. I did need a water temp gauge, but for $25 shipped to my door and I'll have oil, volts, tranny temp, and water temp, I'll take it
