edelbrock 1406 and 200r4

My 200r4 is buing built as i type. I currently have the edelbrock 1406 carb. I was wondering which carb bracket should i buy. Any recommendations?

this is what it currently looks like.. i had the bent that part a bit so it can clear. pls help

That's exactly what you need to do in order to clear that manifold. i have the exact same setup (except mine is a 1405). I had to bend the throttle tab at about 45 degrees

I went to the junkyard and bought a bracket off an 80's M4MC quadrajet for 5 bucks, it fit right on the back and works well.

yeah but where would i hook up the tranny tv cable to? dont i need to add a bracket to the carb to attach the tv cable? do i need this piece

Hmmmmmm, im not entirely sure, i have a TH350 which hooks up to my pedal.

Hopefully others will chime in.

i was thinking of adding another spacer to clear that egr port and add that adapter to it? think is good idea?

I could probably grab a picture of my setup. But what i did was add a 1'' open spacer from MR Gasket underneath the carb. Cost around 20$ . I torqued it down and the air cleaner still clears the hood.

hey thanks tony.. so u have the manifold-adapter-spacer then carb? this is what im planning on doing just hoping there's no problems for using the adapter and a spacer?

You need to contact BowieTie overdrives they have every thing you need and there stuff works perfect. I have used there brackets and they fit and work.
