Clutch fork help

I am hoping you guys can help me with a clutch fork question. This will be my first time running mechanical clutch linkage and I’m not sure I have the correct fork. It doesn’t seem correct to me, the fork is stamped 5014090 and I have a 9785581 bellhousing. The fork is off a Chevy bellhousing and is simply one I’ve had in the garage, doesn’t seem to have enough throw in the olds bellhousing. If it’ll work great If not which one do I need? I also need an inspection cover and fork boot.

What is your application Chevy, Olds? Talk with Russ over at 4-Speed Conversions for the correct parts.

Sorry, my parts book only goes to 1970. The link I provided earlier is your best route for nos, used, and new parts though.

That fork might be from the era of Chev engines in Olds bodies. I had a 78 442 with factory four speed and that fork looks like the one that was in that car.
