Anyone know why when im stopped, in drive my transmission buzzes? \
61 f-85. Its pretty loud..

 

Have the same problem with my 53 Merc. Buzzing usually caused by front pump going bad. Would do a pressure check of mainline pressure when at idle. Should be a pressure takeoff pipe plug somewhere on the Roto 5 you have.

Make sure fluid level is correct. Pump could just be cavitating, which does it no good, but correct fluid level might forestall a rebuild a few years.

 

fluid level is ok, it only does it at in gear and stopped with brake on, like at a stop light..weird
