Radio buzzing when accelerate

Radio buzzing when accelerate

I know it's not a big problem in the scheme of things but it is annoying. My original am/fm 8 track radio makes a buzzing noise when I hit the gas. Any suggestions of possible fixes ? Thanks.

This was a common problem back in the day, especially if you put in an aftermarket radio. All sorts of noise suppression devices were availble. I would think you would need to find something like that. Sometimes they went in to the power wire for the radio. I've also seen condensers mounted to the voltage regulator.
