69 4 speed linkage
69 4 speed linkage
The shifter linkage for the '69 A bodies had a pin that held the 1-2 shift rod to the 1-2 bracket bolted to the selector fork. Does anyone know of a source for this pin? The linkage set I bought did not have the pin. The current linkage offered by all of the vendors does not use the clevis type of attachment. Thanks.

I bought a pack of 20 from 5speeds.com so I've got that covered. Although, I'm not sure they will work on the clevis because it is cylindrical. It has a small flat front and back. It might work. Time will tell.
The wave/anti rattle washer goes on the inside of the end to keep it tight and not rattle or vibrate.
Right, but if because of vibration the washer rotates to be in line with the cylindrical portion of the clevis, it will no longer be a spring but simply a shim. My wave washers have only one curve in them so it could conform to the clevis. But, we shall see.
