1957 Jet a way trans how good are they???

I might have a chance to buy a rebuilt 57 Jet a way trans

The 57 371 sitting in my 50 Olds has the auto flywheel on it, the rear is supported by a chain

will that all bolt up in the 50??? I don't plan to beat the car other then getting on it now and then.

Is this a good way to go, it's a couple hundred for the trans

Use the Jetaway flywheel.

Later trans used a bigger yoke/U joint. Drive shaft modifications are cheap.
