OK but when you spend $300 to have one done to look like this one, $220 dont seem that bad. IYHO what would be a fair price?

Being as a 252 is the only thing that will fit correctly on the Toronado... besides, you'd pay that much or more for a good jobber rebuild thru a parts store IF they could get one, and it won't have been replated or rebushed.
Just curious Tony- who did the carb for you? Does it still have the Toronado choke link and all? Inlet threads good?

Carb was done by a guy in Philly who had did them as a side buisness. He did another one for me that ran beautifully on my wagon, but was only a 750 and I felt it needed more cfm so I went with a big holley.
It does still have all the correct Toro linkage and the inlet threads are good. Anyone interested in photo's just pm me an email address and I can provide them.
And the part about it not being jetted for "your" motor. If your motor is stock, it should work fine. They didnt individually jet any carb to motor at the factory in 1969 did they?
