I just picked this carb up last week to put on my 72 Cutlass 350 SBO. Does anyone know what this came off of?

Here are the numbers on the Quadrajet 7042250 2981 NC

 

If it's the same as '70 and '71, it's a quadrajet for an Olds 350ci engine. The date code is the 298th day (October 25th) of 1971 and NC is either a broadcast code or a code that designates the factory where the carb was made.

Oh, and it's a carb for a '72 production year car.

The 42 in the 7042250 means 1972, and the 250 is correct for auto trans Cutlass.
