Coil over help

Need some advice on my new set up-
The vehicle is a 74 442 , the rear end is a Ford 9"
The car is a heavy street hauler with a little Autocross in its future.
My question is the progressive rate springs that came with the Qa1 coil overs seem to be bottomed with full weight on the car, fuel tank is 1/4 full.
Should I just get some regular springs ?
Or is this normal, seems like their ain't much left there for spring travel.

Is the spring bottomed or the shock? If its the spring you may need to give them a call for a heavier one. If its the shock you can adjust the spring up.
