58 Super 88 steering upgrades?

I just bought a 58 that has steering issues. The box is very loose with a lot of slop. Rather than just replace the box, are there any upgrades out there with a faster ratio? Thanks!

Since your 58 is a resto mod, do you know how much of the suspension may or may not have already been changed???

Well the best I can tell it looks to be redone but with original parts. Its all newish, but definitely not modern parts. It does have a disc brake conversion done, but i have no idea what the parts are. There was virtually no info available from the PO. One thing I see that appears changed is the front shocks. They are upside down with an adapter plate so the stud is down. Im guessing they couldn't find original style shocks? The steering box definitely looks original.

Looks like you have to redo everything, if only to know beyond any doubt what you have when replacement time comes.
