Anybody know why a lot of the header companies exclude the cutlass supreme model with a 350? Has anyone used them and what brand?

 

Its a myth that got started many years ago. It was reported that the engines were offset in the supreme bodys. Simply not true.

There are many supremes with headers running around. And..with different manufacters of headers.

 

I have a 72 Supreme with Dynomax headers. No issue. Fit fine.

 

Use the search function on this site, looking for headers and supreme. You'll find that this topic comes up frequently. Why the header manufacturers can't fix their listings, despite repeated emails, is a mystery.

 

Maybe we should select days where everybody on this board calls the header companies and sends emails about Olds headers. If we do that 3 or 4 times, maybe they would change it. I know you have tried Joe. This has to be one of the most common topics on this board.

 

Mines fitted with no problem and sound great!

Thanks for the advice and pics, any exhaust system brand fit better than others?

 

I put Heddman shorties on my 71 supreme. Lots of room around my oil filter and clutch linkage.
