I have an Olds 350 with Performer RPM heads and true roller rockers. Anyone know what valve covers are available to clear the rockers? The motor currently has the cheap chrome valve covers with no baffles. Thanks

 

buy shorter poly locks. That's what hits the valve covers, not the rockers.

 

Which brand/model rockers? What cam?

For reference, I have a 403 with a Lunatic 60803, eBrocks and Harland Sharp 5016's. Stock valve covers with the extra-extra-thick SCE gaskets works great.

 

350 Olds with Edelbrock RPM heads and intake. Mondello 20-22 cam (.496 lift), magnum rockers from Mondello. They clear the stock height chrome valve covers, but there are no baffles in these covers. I am looking a set of tall valve covers with baffles. The stock height ones are 2.9 inches tall, and the tall ones are 3.6 inches tall.

 

if you don't need fancy, dick miller USE TO SELL a stock looking cover that is taller, seems to be the same one cfr sells

I have a set and they clear the harlan sharps with no issues, they look very stock. just sayin...

Scott they are by no means top shelf but they will do the job.... I think the alernative of cast aluminum ones are pricey, and they don't look stock, or you could probably take two sets of stock ones and weld up a taller set ( not me, but a truly experienced welder) .

they only use 5 of the 10 bolts.. i emailed the guy and he said there 3 7/16 tall but can custom make ones to your hight. i also asked him it they leaked would he take them back he said yes.. but they wont leak it you don't over tighten them.

Those are nice , not my style but they look great if you have AC on your car your gonna have to do a work around I believe just thinking out loud I don't have a/c but the top goes down
