rear plug behind cam installation.
rear plug behind cam installation.
I have never installed the rear plug that goes behind the cam bearing the machine shop usually does this when they replace the cam bearings but i did not have the plugs at the time . Whats the procedure ? How far do you install it., i cant imagine installing it untill you hit the cam bearing .
By shallo cup lined up to the straight section you mean edge of the block ? This is what I was thinkin too. Since the oil pan is not o n yet I might be able to see the space I have between it all. Next weekend I will back the cars out of the garage and start finishing it all up from where I'm at.
There is no pressure on this, it just gives access to the cam tunnel. Install it just like you would a freeze plug, thin coat of sealed and press it in flush with the block.
