#4 heads?

Are #4 heads any good? I think they are from 1967 330 engine. Any info will be helpful .

Yes, your right that they're a 1967 casting. They are good heads and have the smaller combustion chamber than the later small block heads. They came with the more common rocker arm assemblies than the earlier heads so that keeps life simple. If your looking for a good set of heads to build for your car I'd not hesitate to go with a set of #4's. John

I have 4's on my 1967 330 in the garage. If the casting starts with WG, they are the hi-compression heads. That's what I have

I heard some of those 4 heads run chambers as small as 61 cc's. This came up one time when i was talking to a local racer and he mentioned he had a set of stock 4 heads cc'd and they came up to 61cc's .

#2 heads have the early rocker style and are different and also have a larger combustion chamber.

I like John can do #4 heads. In fact i have 3 sets I am pretty sure.
