Rebuilder Recommendations - 330 in AZ
Rebuilder Recommendations - 330 in AZ
I’m starting to look for someone to rebuild the 330 in my 64 442. It runs and has never been out of the car. I want it stock and original - 310hp specs. I would prefer someone in the Tucson or Phoenix Arizona area.

I have some SBC guys that like to use Georges Machine shop here in Tucson. They
are fast and good I hear, hard to find in a shop these days. I have never dealt with them, but I used Bakers shop and had a bad experience. I have felt out others and had bad impressions, too busy, dis-organized, overpriced. I would stop by few and feel them out and get quotes. Any good shop with the right tools and builders who care should be able to re-build any engine, especially a basic GM engine from the 60s.

I used 5 Star Engines in Glendale, AZ to rebuild my 455 big block. I see a lot of older American V-8's go through there, and they seem to get the rebuilds no one else wants to touch. My engine runs great, and a retired Olds mechanic who installed the engine was equally impressed. Ask for Chris or Ed.
