Water pump for a Rallye 350

Ok, got the brake issue situated. Works great now. Now I noticed the water pump leaking, my question is: There are two listed on rockauto.com one has a 5.1" hub height, and the other is 5.572" hub height. Is there a standard size they used on the "Rallye's"? From what I measured it looks like it would be the 5.1", but I don't want to order the wrong height. Where do I measure from. I measured from the flat part of the pump to the outside hub of the pulley. Thanks in advance for any help.

Water pump height question.

I noticed the water pump leaking on my '70 Olds Rallye, my question is: There are two listed on rockauto.com one has a 5.1" hub height, and the other is 5.572" hub height. The different sizes were AC and non-AC applications. The height is measured from the mounting face to the top of the hub.

There is a "sticky" with this info:

It's probably what you measured.
which pulley do you have on your pump?
Should be a 2 letter code on the face of the pulley.

Plus if it's the original pump they can be rebuilt for around $100. Then you know it'll fit and you get to keep it original.

Here, I moved them for you. Asking a water pump question in a brake forum probably isn't your best choice...

Assuming your engine has the stock accessory brackets, a 1970 350 uses the 5.1" pump for non-A/C applications and the 5.6" pump for A/C applications. If there is any doubt, pull off the pulleys and measure from the pulley mounting surface on the pump flange to the gasket surface. There are actually three different Olds water pump lengths. That's 6.1" on the left, 5.6" in the middle, and 5.1" on the right.

This diagram is misleading, as it ONLY applies to the 1970-72 cars. Other years are different. For example, on my 67 Delta, the pumps are 5.1" for both A/C and non-A/C applications.

Thank you everyone, It is non-A/C car. Sorry don't know what pulley is on it. Haven't pulled it off yet. If I think of it I will let you know what I find out.
Sorry about the cooling question in the brake forum, must be too much Christmas spirit.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone.

Hey fed, if that water pump you are taking off is the original, I would at least keep it. The last water pump I bought for a 350 Olds was a Chinese blob. Worked ok but no original numbers, etc. Merry Christmas to you also!!!

Hi everyone,
First, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Hopefully it will be a lot better than 2020, and we can back to car shows, flea markets, cruise nights, ect.
Second, sticking with my post, I am thinking about getting the water pump rebuilt, instead of getting an aftermarket one. I live around southeast PA (About an hour NW of Philly). Does anyone know of anybody who can rebuild it around my area.
Thanks for all the help & advise.
