W31 Intake and Aluminum Heads

Can a W31 intake be used with aluminum heads? I know there would have to be machining, just wanted to know if it's even possible.

I'm not 100% sure, but the aftermarket heads that I know of are primarily designed for big blocks. If there are specific small block aluminum heads they are new to me. By the way, how much WAS that NOS W-31 intake?I read the thread on your restoration- you do some fine work and should be proud of both yourself and your car.

Yes they are Edelbrock heads. I picked up the intake for $750, and thnx for the compliment on my build.

The only issue will be port-matching the intake to the larger ports on the E-brock heads. Otherwise, no problems. Well, there is the issue of the fuel pump not clearing the E-brock heads on the lower deck SBO, so you'll need to run an electric pump.
