understanding cams

i have a 72 cutlass with a rocket 350 that has 65k on it and i want to put a cam in it but have no clue where to start and whats good...i want one that will make my car sound mean and able to back it up..please help

Might want to PM CutlassEFI - he can grind a custom cam for your application!

Pm'd you. It'll be tough to meet that bill though because of the less than stellar compression ratio.
