rear main question
I'm pretty sure this 85 delta has a rope type rear main seal, is there a one piece or 2 that's rubber that I can use as a replacement? I think the rope deal is a bit outdated

Yes. Just cut the ears off the Jeep seal and it should fit fine.

The background of /\ that /\ photo looks familiar for some reason.

Reminds me of the background I saw for an 84-85 LeSabre coupe that was for sale a few months back.

Get the AMC seal supposed to be a tighter fit. Mine has been good for 3 years.
