Identifying Comp Cam

Is there anyway to identify the cam the previous owner has put into the engine without taking the engine apart? I have no info other than it's a comp cam, but no idea on specs. I believe the original 68 350 was replaced with a 73 350 and then has had a cam put in it.

You can degree the cam and get lift and duration #s, then look in the Comp catalog. But, with hydraulic lifters it will not be 100 % accurate. Still, the lift #s should get you pretty close.
