Testing the memory...64-67 for 330's then 68-74? for 350's. Anybody?

Sounds right. I believe that they went to corporate blue in 1975.

Would the 400 be gold? How about the 455 in 70 and later?

400's bronze and 70' 455 is blue with a slight hint of silver/sparkle, not the corporate blue and to muddy it more the Toro 455's were a different blue with a
noticeable hint of silver.

Which paint is best for a 66 330 engine? Will probably have to replace 330 water pump.

Thanks
Wayne

I used either the Duplicolor DE1604 or the VHT SP132 when I painted my 330 years ago. Do a comparison and see which is the closest.

Yeah our 75 Cutlass's Olds 350 was Coporate Blue. The 73 motor I picked up was also Coporate Blue and would have been Gold factory. I blasted the 73 only "Oldsmobile" valve covers and hardly found a spec of gold paint anywhere. I remember working on a 73 Oldsmobile Cutlass in shop class and remember the factory Butterscotch Gold "Oldsmobile" valve covers for the Olds 350. Those were the days, that was 92 and later around 2000 working in shops and routinely working on Olds V8 powered cars and former Olds diesel powered trucks as well with Olds 350's.'
