fuel line / filters

Ok i just finally got the finisheing touches on my current engine . I installed a new converter , new holley 650 dp, and re did some wiring and touched up the firewall. My question is do i need a filter between the carb and fuel pump. I run one of those big inline canister filters running from the fuel cell. I also left in the filters in the holley that go on the inlets . My main issue is space . I put my regulator in line to the dual feed line to save fuel line and hose but now all i have is 6 inches from the pump to the regulator. Will another filter inline right before the pump work as well ?

Coppercutlass you don't need another filter between the pump and carb, since you already have a canister filter before the pump. Also, get rid of the bowl inlet filters as they are not needed. Any reputable carb builder doesn't install them either.

What did you do with your other converter and what size was it?

Thanks

That converter is goin in my dad's car . I'm going to use the fuel inlet filters I see them as no harm. If I see a lack of fuel. I'll remove them
